Description

We’re afraid to talk about money. We’re definitely afraid to talk with YOUTH about money.
Leave that fear behind; come to our workshop! Let’s find ways to tackle money with the future of our church.

Ministers Facing Money invites you to our “Youth and Money” workshop, which is designed to spark a conversation focused on approaching the topic of money in both a theological and financially thoughtful manner with the youth of the church. This workshop will be formed around a directed panel and discussion moderated by three speakers:

Rev. Dr. David White, C. Ellis and Nancy Gribble Nelson Professor of Christian Education and Professor in Methodist Studies
Rev. Dr. Blair Monie, Professor in The Louis H. and Katherine S. Zbinden Distinguished Chair of Pastoral Ministry and Leadership
J.D. Herrera, senior MDiv student and pastor at Manor United Methodist Church in Austin, TX.

With their leadership, the workshop will focus on the concepts of stewardship and other spiritual doctrines and practices related to money within the setting of youth ministry.
